This is a unique and active safari experience; a trekking safari provides a welcome break to sitting in a vehicle for days on end. While walking you have the opportunity to stalk wildlife, search for tracks, and mix with indigenous cultures. On our trekking safaris you will generally move camp everyday which requires a simpler, lighter weight camp. We have designed a special walking safari camp: On this walking trip we will use Maasai donkeys to transport the camp. You will only need to carry your small daypack with water and personal gear for the day.

03 :days mount Meru climbing Meru is a great preparation hike for climbing Kilimanjaro, or a spectacular trek  for those not compelled to do Kilimanjaro. You will hike past wildlife, the landscape is spectacular, and sunrise on the summit has Kilimanjaro as the backdrop. While it can be done in only 4 days, it is not an easy peak to summit. Selous game reserve - Woodland Trek Safaris Ltd

The Selous is Africa’s largest game reserve, a wilderness area bigger than Denmark or Switzerland. The park covers more than 5% of Tanzania’s total land area. Selous is still an uninhabited, untamed slice of ‘Old Africa’. In 1982 the Reserve’s unique ecosystem was recognized internationally and the area designated a World Heritage Site by the United Nations.
